On January 28, 2026, the Empa PhD Symposium 2026 will take place on site at Empa in St. Gallen. It is the largest annual event for PhD students at Empa. Over a hundred young scientists, including PhD students, supervisors and experienced experts from various disciplines and fields, will attend. The theme of this year's symposium is "From the lab to life: Interdisciplinary steps towards changes in real life".

Empa, in collaboration with The Fiber Society, invites you to The Fiber Society Spring Conference 2026, which will take place from May 20 - 22, 2026 at Empa in St. Gallen.
