Assumption of the presidency of the Swiss Society for Telemedicine and e-Health (SGTMeH)
SGTMeH is a respected institution in the field of digital healthcare and is firmly anchored in the Swiss healthcare system. Since its foundation in 2001, it has made significant contributions to the promotion of telemedicine.
The newly elected Board of Directors - President Prof. Dr. med. Christiane Brockes, Vice President Sascha Beck, both from alcare AG, and Vice President PD Dr. iur. Julian Mausbach - are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Swiss Society for Telemedicine and e-Health. SGTMeH is a respected institution in the field of digital healthcare and is firmly anchored in the Swiss healthcare system.
Since its foundation in 2001, it has made significant contributions to the promotion of telemedicine. The takeover will ensure that telemedicine and e-health continue to be developed in the future. Uniform quality standards, guidelines, certifications as well as training and further education are to be created, and new research projects in the fields of medicine, psychology and law are to be developed.
SGTMeH will also do more to promote the regulation of doctors and healthcare professionals working in telemedicine and act as a specialist and professional organization. The SGTMeH will also play an active political role in shaping the healthcare strategy.
